Scrapbook: Covid restrictions

Published by Billy Mann
I'm originally from Liverpool and worked as a national magazine journalist for more than 30 years before suffering a stroke at age 53. I started blogging as part of a neuro-rehabilitation programme and wrote the very first entries with one finger of my disabled left hand. Later, art became another therapy for me at Headway East London's Submit To Love studios. I blog regularly and volunteer as a teaching assistant, coaching schoolchildren in aspects of journalism. I find that people are talking to each other more on phones even though they are not able to visit each other. But earlier too, we met relatives only at functions, social or religious. But life has changed. Now cases are increasing everyday in my country. I don’t know how this will end.

Not for the first time, I find that covid isn’t really making much difference tio my life. I never was very sociable or at ease in social situations. I can now blame it on isolation rather than lack of social skills. 🙂
