You’ve surprised me. Some rare words of praise from a hard-bitten critic. You said To Sir With Love was “awesome”, which I understand to mean good.
I just watched a bit for the first time in years, and yes it is. I can still remember the mood of the country in those days regarding race, and it’s easy to forget how far we’ve come.
In the late 60s I had a black female friend aged eight, the same as me, and she was the only one in the school. The abuse she suffered daily was unbelievable.
