Drabble: Flight 370

It was a bad copy, a struggle to read the words. They said something about Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, the one that came down and was never found. They broke the news to the families by sms, which was heartless. The illustration tries to be satirical, maybe a bit too sarcastic. That’s probably its main fault.

Some people will see that as a sick joke.

I'm originally from Liverpool and worked as a national magazine journalist for more than 30 years before suffering a stroke at age 53. I started blogging as part of a neuro-rehabilitation programme and wrote the very first entries with one finger of my disabled left hand.   1. Sometimes, but mostly I write the story then make the image. I write about my own art, but the stories are just stories, which I then try to boil down to 100 words and find or make a picture to fit. Cutting the stories to 100 words is the most enjoyable part.

    1. I have the same problem. I think it is probably an attempt to imprison WordPress users in WordPressLand. But that might be me being over-suspicious. I’ve started reading all posts in the Reader.
