Hamsters are rodents that have become established as popular small house pets. The best-known species is the golden or Syrian (Mesocricetus auratus). Other species commonly kept as pets are the three dwarf hamsters, Campbell’s dwarf (Phodopus campbelli), the winter white (Phodopus sungorus) and the Roborovski (Phodopus roborovskii). Wikipedia
I'm originally from Liverpool and worked as a national magazine journalist for more than 30 years before suffering a stroke at age 53. I started blogging as part of a neuro-rehabilitation programme and wrote the very first entries with one finger of my disabled left hand.
