I'm originally from Liverpool and worked as a national magazine journalist for more than 30 years before suffering a stroke at age 53. I started blogging as part of a neuro-rehabilitation programme and wrote the very first entries with one finger of my disabled left hand. Later, art became another therapy for me at Headway East London's Submit To Love Studios. I write about my daily activities and encounters. In 1988, I married Jane. We are still together today, sharing our lives and making each other laugh.

I once thumbed a lift in one of them. A group of hippies travelling south picked me up outside Huntingdon and took me down to Cambridge to an Elvis Costello concert. That’s a lot of memories condensed into a few hours of the last 70s. Happy Christmas.

Happy Christmas. My dad had one, same colour. It got wrecked when he taught my sister to drive.

In my mind they were all that colour. However, I just Googled them and found a number of other colours. Compared to some of the gaps in my knowledge this is comparatively minor.
